The Manhasset School District invites the community to experience the newly enhanced learning environment for students during its Facilities Showcase on from 6 to 8 p.m. April 17 at Manhasset Secondary School.
This is an opportunity for residents to tour the newly renovated instructional spaces and updated core facilities and see firsthand how they are preparing students for the challenges of today and well into the future.
Manhasset Secondary School students are enjoying renovated and redesigned science and technology labs, music and art rooms, a renovated gymnasium and expanded cafeteria. Additionally, new sod was installed at Memorial Field and the tennis and basketball courts were resurfaced for improved drainage.
Guided tours will be provided along with thorough explanations of how each space has been enhanced and is being utilized. A running video will also give residents a glimpse into the work that has been completed at Munsey Park and Shelter Rock elementary schools.
All Manhasset residents are encouraged to attend this showcase. No registration is required. Please join the Manhasset School in celebrating its transformed learning environment and our community, which has made it possible.
