The Mineola District Council of PTAs and Mineola Public Schools will hold the 2017-2018 Children’s Cultural Arts Series, in the Mineola High School Theatre at 10 Armstrong Road in Garden City Park. Celebrate the 30th year of the district bringing family entertainment to the community.
The first performance will be “Willy Wonka“ on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 2:00pm. Plaza Theatrical Productions presents the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, with music from the original movie.
The second show, “National Circus Project,” will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6 at 2:00pm. The National Circus Project packs a panoramic presentation of circus skills into a sensational comedy-variety show.
The final program, “Beyond the Beat,” will be Saturday, Feb. 10 at 2:00pm. The Exit 9 percussion ensemble offers a high-energy performance infused with musicianship, humor, and audience participation.
Tickets are $5 per child per show, or $12 for all three shows. Adults and children under three are admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved in advance.
