NHP schools Sewanhaka Advanced Placement art students go APE

The artwork of four Sewanhaka High School Advanced Placement students was featured at the Art League of Long Island’s 11th annual Go APE artist reception on March 4.

The artwork of Sewanhaka High School junior Piriyankari Sivanesathasan was displayed at the Go APE artist reception.

The artistry of seniors Kristina Gallo and Sophia Hunte, and juniors Piriyankari Sivanesathasan and Sophia Villavicenio from Allison Filippone’s Advanced Placement 2D Design Art class was celebrated alongside the artwork of Advanced Placement art students from Nassau and Suffolk counties. The reception was well attended by students, parents, art educators, administrators and community members. Winners in various categories were chosen by an art educator and received their own Go APE certificate.
