The Community Synagogue Theater Company (TCSTC) is proud to announce auditions for its upcoming production of “The Addams Family.” TCSTC’s most recent production, Fiddler on the Roof, played to sold-out audiences.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Community Synagogue, located at 160 Middle Neck Road, Sands Point. Please come prepared with 16 bars of an up-tempo song and it will be helpful to be familiar with the score. Callbacks will be on Nov. 7 at 8:30 p.m.
Rehearsals will begin in December and are held at the synagogue on Sundays from 2 to 6 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursdays from 7 to 10 p.m. Cast members must be available for all rehearsal dates, however, not all cast members are needed at every rehearsal. Anyone with regular conflicts may not be considered. The show will be performed at the Landmark on Main on Thursday, April 4, Saturday, April 6, and two shows on Sunday, April 7.
A note about children: there are a limited number of roles in the ensemble for children ages 7 through 16. You must be in at least second grade to audition.
