On Feb. 1 the parents of Our Lady of Grace students presented many countries from the continents of Africa and Europe. The children were treated to countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Kenya, Morocco, South Africa, Denmark, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania and Portugal. The parents captivated the children’s attention by teaching simple phrases, local favorite cuisines, famous people and landmarks. When asked what his favorite and most memorable moment of the day was, one student said “having all the parents there and how super cool that the Sphinx has the head of a man and body of a lion.”
