The Parent Resource Center will honor four women on Friday, March 6, who have been instrumental in the success and endurance of the organization.
The honorees include: Parent Resource Center Founder Lynne Patterson, former Director Julie Meer, Legal Counsel Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme, and former President Amanda Khalil.
This year’s 40th Anniversary Friendship Gala will be held at Swan Club on the Harbor in Roslyn. The event will feature dinner, an open bar, live music/DJ, a strolling magician, casino, and raffles. It will be a memorable evening for everyone, as well as a chance to give back to our community. The funds raised from this event will go to enhancing the Parent Resource Center facility and expanding the programs offered to the children and families in our community.
The Parent Resource Center is a nonprofit community center for parents with children in the area. The center offers mommy & me classes, separation classes, play preschool, open play, social events for parents and kids, support groups for parents of middle school and high school students, Parent University, an Outreach Program for low-income families and much more.
