PATV Long Island supported Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas and the Long Island Youth Safety Coalition in filming the “Brainstorms” youth and mental health conference that was held at Hofstra University on Dec. 5.

The conference featured Dr. Victor M. Fornari, director of child and adolescent psychiatry at Northwell, as well as special guest singer and anti-bullying activist Meredith O’Connor.

There were also informational workshops on a wide variety of topics including current trends and signs, risk factors, specialty courts, evidence based programs, suicide, social media, and law enforcement support.

This conference will air on PATV, channels 20 for Optimum and 37 for Verizon, or on Youtube at PATV Long Island in January. Check the PATV schedule for dates and times of airing.
