Port Washington Interfaith Thanksgiving to be held Sunday

The Island Now

We live in a divisive political time. Therefore, it is more important than ever for the Port Washington community to come together in peace, respect, and gratitude.

One meaningful opportunity for this type of gathering is the annual Port Washington Interfaith Thanksgiving Service. This year’s service will take place Sunday, November 19th, at 4:30pm, at Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore, 1001 Plandome Road, Plandome, NY 11030.

Pastor David Collins from The United Methodist Church of Port Washington will deliver the Thanksgiving message.

Money raised from the free-will offering will go to the Port Washington Community Chest and to Puerto Rican relief, via The Sisters of St. Dominic of Amityville.
