Kathleen Mooney, superintendent of Port Washington Union Free School District, was honored by the Port Washington Board of Education, district administrators, building principals and staff, with a building dedication at the Administrative Annex.
Following a speech by Board President Karen Sloan, the new plaque honoring Mooney, which hangs in the doorway of the building’s front entrance, was unveiled.
Mooney, a dedicated visionary and problem solver, is retiring after devoting 19 fulfilling years to the students and staff of the Port Washington schools.
