The Island Now

Last year’s first Port’s Got Talent variety show featuring Port Washington’s very talented residents was a huge hit. This year’s show will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Landmark on Main Street’s Rimsky Theater. All profits from the event will benefit senior citizens that attend the Port Washington Adult Activities Center, which was previously known as the Port Washington Senior Citizens Center.

The show will feature singing, dancing, instrumentalists and jokes peppered throughout. The acts combine selections from auditions and talent from local performance studios Bach to Rock, Berest Dance Studio and Voice Academy, as well as Red Stocking Revue performers.

Tickets, which are $25 per person or $35 for preferred seating, can be purchased on eventbrite.com, search “Port’s Got Talent, or by calling the Port Washington Adult Activities Center at (516) 883-6656. Net proceeds will support hot lunch, exercise, art and other programming at the Port Washington Adult Activities Center located at 80 Manorhaven Boulevard.
