Previti Pizza and Papazzio Dining named official pizzeria of Iceland

The Island Now

Iceland, a major landmark and destination for skaters and hockey players, in New Hyde Park,  owned and operated by Rich Roulston, has named Previti Pizza Papazzio Dining as their “Official Pizzeria.”

“They supply us with great pizza, and are located across the street with a great selection of artisan pizza, and delicious Italian dishes”  said Roulston, who skated there as a teenager.

It  all started when  Paul Previti, owner of Previti Pizza, and Delmonico’s Gourmet Food Market in Midtown Manhattan, got together with Dominick Bruccoleri, owner of Papazzio Italian Restaurant and Catering in Bayside .

The formal dining room is a place for meetings, and for award ceremonies for nearby schools and area sports teams.

Previti Pizza and Papazzio Dining also has a second location just about a mile and a half west on Hillside and Marcus.

Having two locations close together allows the venue to supply large orders demanded by nearby businesses who sometimes order 20, 30, and 50 pies at a time, and ensures orders are piping fresh out of the oven and on time for events.

Iceland is home to The Ice Cats Hockey League,  Metropolitan Figure Skating Club, and Cozzi Sports , all under one roof to provide the best ice skating experience, classes and supplies on Long Island.
