The singers from Roslyn had the opportunity to perform 20 minutes of music under the direction of their teacher Ryan Occeña on the Ronald O. Perelman Stage in the Isaac Stern Auditorium, the main concert stage of Carnegie Hall.

They were accompanied for some songs by Kenneth Richardson on piano and Ginevra Petrucci on flute. One of their performance pieces was the world premiere of an arrangement by Roslyn student and composer Joshua Gregg Fried.

Additionally, students sang alongside three other choirs from across the nation under renowned conductors Jeffrey Cobb and Dr. Heather Buchanan.

Prior to performing, students had the opportunity to rehearse with Cobb and Buchanan, and some students participated in one-on-one vocal coaching with a professional singer.

Of those students, Roslyn singer Lindsey Russ was selected to perform a solo song onstage during the Carnegie Hall concert.
