Roslyn High School Forensics Club competes at Princeton

The students in Roslyn High School’s Forensics club visited Princeton University to compete in the 21st Annual Princeton Classic in December and performed admirably.

In the Novice Lincoln Douglas category, Andrew Goldberg was a double octofinalist and recipient of the second place speaker award, and William Borges was a semifinalist in Novice Lincoln Douglas.

In the Varsity Lincoln Douglas category, Brandon Lee was a double octofinalist, and Asher Bykov made it to octofinals and earned a half qualification to compete at New York States in April.

In oral interpretation, Isabella Soffer and Alex Russ were semifinalists. Olivia Ben Levy and Nicole Blattman were both semifinalists in congressional debate.

The club’s advisor is Maryam Tazari, and Linda Mohlenhoff is the assistant advisor.
