Schreiber High School girls host softball clinic with PYA

Schreiber High School's Lady Vikings Softball held a softball clinic for Port Washington Youth Activities" girls softball program.

The Schreiber High School Lady Vikings Softball Team recently hosted a clinic for the Port Washington Youth Activities (PYA) Girls softball program at Lions Field. These high school players worked side-by-side with PYA players in grades 2nd through 7th to help develop their softball skills.

It was a fun event for all involved. The PYA girls were all smiles as they practiced under the direction of head coach Eric Sutz and his team. The high school players ran different drills and competitions to teach softball skills to the various age levels including base running, pitching, catching, fielding, batting, and throwing. The clinic was a huge success and all the girls, both players and instructors, had a great time.

The young athletes have come to look forward to this event every season, and PYA thanks coach Sutz and Schreiber Softball for dedicating their time to work with these future Lady Vikings.
