Senator Phillips attends annual CSEA child care providers meeting

The Island Now

Senator Elaine Phillips recently attended the Civil Service Employees Association’s annual meeting of home-based child care providers who operate in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties.

“As State Senator, and a working mom, I fully understand the importance of quality childcare to Long Island’s working families. My colleagues and I advanced several measures this year increasing support for quality child care and will continue to fight on the behalf of the nearly 10,000 child care affiliates in the upcoming session,” Senator Elaine Phillips said. “Thank you to CSEA for inviting me and to all the child care providers who help nurture and educate our region’s young children.”
