Sewanhaka High School celebrated its Students of the Month for December.
Each department at the high school selected one student who demonstrated academic achievement and also served as a positive influence in the classroom.
December’s Students of the Month are Mia Banks, for world language, Jaelen Brown, for special education, Amanda Destler, for career ed, Shaun Gilmore, for music, Dominick Giovinazzo, for physical education/health, Sukhvinder-Singh Hare, for business, Josseline jasmine Marquez Luna, for English, Ayesha Malik, for family consumer science, Orel Plunkett, for math, Dillan Powell, for science, Seher Saleem, for English, Jodeene Sawh, for social studies, and Insiya Sulemanji, for art.
