Sewanhaka senior Joshlyn Mensah placed second in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Senior Essay Contest. The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Celebration Committee of Nassau County Inc. honored Joshlyn at a luncheon on Jan. 15 at the Marriott Hotel in Uniondale. Principal Dr. Christopher Salinas congratulated Joshlyn on this outstanding accomplishment.
