Sid Jacobson JCC to host Care Day Symposium: Dementia 360

Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center will host a Care Day Symposium: Dementia 360, an educational day for caregivers and professionals from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Nov. 19. This year, the symposium offers continuing education credits for social work professionals.

The day will feature dementia-care education specialist Teepa Snow and attorney Wendy Goidel of Goidel Law Group in Melville, who will discuss how to ease the stress of caregiving. The symposium also includes vendor resource fair featuring eldercare attorneys, home healthcare agencies, managed long term care specialists, home living options and more.

The registration fee for Care Day Symposium is $50 for social work professionals obtaining continuing education credits, $30 for professionals and $20 for caregivers. The fee includes breakfast and lunch.
