Marisa Radulescu, of Roslyn High School was awarded the Nassau County District Attorney’s prestigious SHIELD Award.
District Attorney Madeline Singas, who developed the award, honored Marisa at a ceremony in the court house on June 28 in Mineola.
The SHIELD Award is presented to the junior who, selected by the school, showed outstanding strength of character, commitment to self-growth and the spirit and initiative to bring about positive change in their community.
