St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center had been named a 2021 Guardian of Excellence Award winner in four categories and a 2021 Pinnacle of Excellence Award winner in two categories by Press Ganey, a national leader in health care consumer workforce management.
Press Ganey recognized St. Francis as a top-performing health care organization achieving the 95th percentile or above for performance in the Guardian of Excellence Award categories: Outpatient Oncology, Outpatient Services, Emergency Department, and Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems and Inpatient Services.
Additionally, Press Ganey honored St. Francis with its Pinnacle of Excellence awards for maintaining consistently high levels of quality for consecutive years in the categories of Inpatient and HCAHPS.

Press Ganey’s Guardian of Excellence Award and its Pinnacle of Excellence Award are preeminent, competitive achievements for leading health care organizations. Presented annually, the awards commend hospitals and health systems that consistently sustain performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients.
