Suffolk Federal Credit Union Announces Community Donations

In a continued effort to support the charitable work of local community organizations that serve the areas of Suffolk Federal Credit Union branch locations, the credit union announced donations of $1,000 to each of 10 nonprofit organizations.

“As a community-focused credit union, we are proud to support a variety of wonderful causes in our area, especially leading up to the holiday season,” said Michele Dean, President & CEO of Suffolk Federal Credit Union. “Our donations reflect our appreciation for their tremendous work improving the quality of life for residents throughout Long Island.”

The financial donations were presented to the following community organizations:

• Eastport Fire Department (Eastport)
• General Needs LTD (Commack)
• Inclusive Sports and Fitness, Inc. (Sayville)
• Kent Animal Shelter (Riverhead)
• Miller Place Historical Society (Miller Place)
• Nassau-Suffolk Law Services (Islandia)
• Southampton African American Museum (Southampton)
• Welcome Friends Soup Kitchen (Port Jefferson)
• West Babylon Fire Department (West Babylon)
• Wild West Farms Animal Refuge (Medford)

“Giving back to the residents of the communities we serve throughout Suffolk and Nassau counties will always be a priority for us,” concluded Ms. Dean. “We wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.”
