Temple Beth-El of Great Neck will host several festive Purim events geared toward the whole family—and the entire community is welcome to join the fun.

Pray, sing, laugh and enjoy a catered meal at Temple Beth-El’s special Purim Weekend Erev Shabbat on Friday, March 6. The evening will begin with an erev Shabbat service at 6 p.m., followed by a Rodgers and Hamantaschen Mixed-up Musical Megillahshpiel Singalong and a delicious dinner by in-house caterer W Kosher Catering.

Dress up for a special character breakfast on Sunday, March 8, and join other Pre-school to Grade 3 families from 10 to 11 a.m. The cost is $10 per family.

Families are encouraged to wear costumes and bring pasta box groggers to the temple’s Erev Purim megillah reading on Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m. Following the event, the pasta will be donated to local families in need.

The services and Purim shpiel are free. Register for the dinner and character breakfast at www.tbegreatneck.org or with the main office at 516-487-0900. Temple Beth-El is located at 5 Old Mill Road in Great Neck.
