Temple Judea has just announced the formation of a new networking group, which will address the social and professional needs of the LGBTQIA community on Long Island.
The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Temple Judea, 333 Searingtown Road, Manhasset. It will be an opportunity for attendees to discuss issues pertaining to this group as well as plans for future events.
The first get-together will be introduced by Rabbi Todd Chizner of Temple Judea who will be welcoming all. He will introduce the moderator, Cindy Schwartz, who will lead a discussion of future plans, which will include cooking demonstrations, films, lectures and roundtable discussions on topics that range from politics to Netflix.
The program for this first meeting will be a night of plant-based meal prepping.
The meeting is open to all.
