Temple Judea presents a seminar on ‘Comparative Judaism’

Temple Judea of Manhasset will present a three-session seminar, “Comparative Judaism”. In each session, Rabbi Chizner of Temple Judea will ask probing questions to his colleague in order to reveal the unique qualities of that branch of Judaism. In addition, Rabbi Chizner will share the Reform Jewish view in comparison. Finally, each session will conclude with time for a question and answer session.

The rabbis who will be participating in each session are:

  • Rabbi Howard Stecker of Temple Israel of Great Neck (conservative) March 12 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Cantor Eric Schulmiller of the Reconstructionist Synagogue of the North Shore, April 10 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Rabbi Yaakov Reiter of Chabad of Roslyn (orthodox), May 15 at 7:30 p.m.

There is no fee for this seminar.  All are invited.
