The Art Guild offers Fall classes and workshops for adults and kids

The Art Guild of Port Washington announced their Fall Schedule of classes and workshops for children and adults for the upcoming Fall session:

Adult Classes:

Mondays: Get Sharp! Drawing with Stephanie Navon-Jacobson 1 to 3:30 p.m., New Strategies and Techniques in Portraiture with Robert Silverman from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays:

Tuesdays: Oil Painting with Joan Stevens (all levels) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wednesdays: Beginner Watercolors with Eileen Neville, 12 to 2 p.m., Intermediate Watercolors with Eileen Neville, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Painting for Beginners with Manny Villalobos from 7 to 9 p.m.

Thursdays: Basic Drawing with Barbara Silbert, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Saturdays: Oil Painting for Beginners with Joan Stevens 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Kids and Teen Classes:

Ages 5-8: Art Explorations Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. or Saturdays from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m.

Ages 8-12: Solving Art, Wednesdays from 4:30 to 6 p.m.; Children’s Art Studio, Saturdays from 12 to 1:30 p.m.

Middle School: Intro to Digital Art with Photoshop, Wednesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Middle School and High School: Empowering the Teen Artist: Tuesdays from 6 to 8 p.m.

High School: High School Student Portfolio Development Studio, Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

Workshops:

Aug. 24 to 25: Bending Reality – Color Theory, Schemes & Strategies with Patti Mollica

Sept. 13 to 15: Alla Prima (Plein Air) Painting with Robert Simone

Sept. 21 to 22: Embrace the Practice – Daily Painting with Lisa Daria Kennedy

Oct. 3 to 6: Alla Prima Painting: Still Life & the Figure with David Shevlino
