Three Roslyn High School students from the Class of 2018 have qualified as semifinalists in this year’s National Merit Scholarship program: Stephanie Tom, Adam Robbins and Ella Eisenberg.

These students are among 16,000 nationwide to be named semifinalists, representing less than one percent of high school seniors in the United States.

About 1.5 million juniors in more than 22,000 U.S. high schools entered the 2018 National Merit Program by taking the 2016 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

These scholastically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,400 Merit Scholarship awards that will be awarded next spring.
