Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Council Members Anna Kaplan and Dina De Giorgio and Town Clerk Wayne Wink attended the 14th annual Manhasset Bay Kayak Run on July 21.
The kayak run, which is co-hosted by the Town of North Hempstead and the Community Chest of Port Washington, featured a launch at the Town Dock and a 5-mile leisurely paddle around Manhasset Bay. The event is a fundraiser for the Community Chest, an organization which helps those in need in the Port Washington community through health, education, welfare, and other social services.
