The East Williston Teachers Association joined Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Councilman Peter Zuckerman, and the Town Board at Town Hall Oct. 10.
The Town recognized the association members for their dedication to encouraging high school seniors to pursue a career in education.
The East Williston Teachers Association has been awarding a $10,000 scholarships to graduating senior planning to pursue a career in education since 1983. Town officials presented a proclamation of recognition to celebrate their dedication to education.
