Town Officials honor Eagle Scouts from Troop 201 in Williston Park

North Hempstead Town officials honored the newest Eagle Scouts from Troop 201 out of Williston Park during a ceremony at American Legion Post 144 on January 6. Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth, Town Clerk Wayne Wink, and Council Member Peter Zuckerman presented proclamations to Michael Marcy, Jordan Chin and Nicholas Ryan in recognition of this special occasion. Marcy achieved his rank by working on the refurbishment of the interior of the Knights of Columbus Hall in Mineola, Chin’s Eagle Scout Project was to refurbish the Albertson-Herricks Little League Equipment rooms and Ryan’s achieved his rank by creating a museum display in the undercroft of the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City. Eagle Scout is the highest advancement rank in Boy Scouting and requires scouts to earn at least 21 merit badges.
