Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Council Members Viviana Russell and Anna Kaplan visited the Girl Scouts of Nassau County on August 13 to meet with the new CEO Randell M. Bynum and to take a tour of the new facility in Garden City. Also in attendance were New York State Senators Carl Marcellino and Elaine Phillips, Nassau County Executive Laura Curran and Nassau County Legislators Arnold Drucker and Richard Nicolello.
Bynum spoke to elected officials about her plans for Girl Scouting in Nassau County and welcomed new members of the Nassau Violets, an honorary Troop for female elected officials.
