The Rev. Joanne Izzo, STM, with the approval of the Wardens and Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church, Roslyn, was recently appointed by Bishop Lawrence Provenzano of the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island to serve as Interim Priest in Charge with option to be called as Rector.

Mother Joanne, a native Brooklynite, was originally ordained as priest in the Diocese of NY.  ‘Home to Everyone from Everywhere’ is one of her favorite highway signs/slogans when entering Brooklyn. She most recently served as an interim Priest in Charge for the Church of the Good Shepherd in Wakefield, Bronx, NY and continues as an Assisting Priest covering the Holy Eucharist on Mondays at the Church of the Transfiguration, also known as the Little Church Around the Corner in NYC.  Mother Joanne began her new ministry at Trinity Church, Roslyn on All Saints Day 2019.
