The Patricia Gordon Trio will perform at Great Neck House on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 3 p.m. They will play a mix of jazz, gospel and show tunes. A park card is required for admission.

LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

Celebrate the Lunar New Year at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink on Sunday, Feb. 10 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Free admission for residents wearing RED (must present park card at entrance). Enjoy arts & crafts, on-ice performances, Chinese drum playing, family choir and flute presentation. The Great Neck Galaxy Synchro Team will also perform. Don’t miss the giveaways including delicious treats. Everyone is welcome to attend. Non-resident fee applies. Skate rental is $5 per person.

INDOOR SOCCER PROGRAM

Children ages 3-10 years old can register for the Park District’s new UK Elite indoor soccer program, held at Great Neck South Middle School gym on Saturdays, beginning Jan. 26 (dates include Feb. 2, 9 and March 2, 9 and 16). Little Kickers, ages 3-4, meet from 2 to 3 p.m.; Middies, ages 5-6, from 3 to 4 p.m. and Super Strikers, ages 7-10, from 4 to 5 p.m. Price for residents is $155/non-residents $185. THERAPEUTIC SKATING AND ACCESSIBLE ART CLASSES

Program Coordinator Cindy Zubli has developed two programs for children and young adults with disabilities. Both are taught by special education instructors with extra special tender loving care. Therapeutic Skating at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink runs Sundays through March 17, 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. All ages are welcome. Skate rental is included. Residents: $195; non-residents: $225. Accessible Art at Great Neck House allows children and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to explore the love of art with few limitations. Various art media explored in the field of art/crafts in a caring environment. SKATE SCHOOL AND BRUINS HOCKEY REGISTRATION

NATURE PROGRAM: OUR PURE WATER

Concerned about our water? On Friday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m., join Great Neck’s Water Pollution Control, 236 East Shore Road (next to Santelli Garden Center). This facility will demonstrate what they do to keep our water pure. Important to register by 2/1. Held rain or shine (80 percent indoors). WEEKEND MOVIE AT GREAT NECK HOUSE

“The Rider” (2018), directed by Chloé Zhao, will be shown at Great Neck House on Friday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 2, at 5 and 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 3 at 7:30 p.m. Starring Brady Jandreau, Mooney, Tim Jandreau, this film is based on a true story. A once rising star of the rodeo circuit warned that his competition days are over after a tragic riding accident finds himself wondering what he has to live for when he can no longer do what gives him a sense of purpose. It is rated R and runs 1 hour 44 minutes. Admission with park card.
