Baby Sign Language 101

Ages: birth and up with adult.

Introduction to Lego Robotics
Monday, March 4
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Grades 2-5
Pair up with a partner to learn how to build a simple Lego robotic structure and program it to move by using a Lego WeDo kit and a laptop computer. Prior experience with Lego Robotics not required. *Lego Robotics materials belong to the library, and are not to be taken home. Please register in the Children’s Room or call 516-746-8488 ext. 1.

Teen Programs

Escape the Room! For Grades 6 and up.

3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
During Teen Tech Week (March 3-9) join us in the tween room to try and solve the ultimate puzzle! Using your knowledge of tech and the library, solve the puzzles to escape the room before it’s too late! Please register in the Children’s Room or call 516-746-8488 ext. 1.

Mars Rover Craft for Grades 6 and up
Thursday, March 7
3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Join Miss Jaime in building a Mars Rover out of cookies and candy. Take yours home and impress your friends. (Program may contain peanuts). Please register in the Children’s Room or call 516-746-8488 ext. 1.
