On Tuesday, Nov 20 the Village of Mineola held the annual Senior Appreciation luncheon at the Village Hall.
Mayor Strauss, and members of the village board, served lunch to seniors of Mineola.
Musical entertainment and a smorgasbord of desserts was also provided. Mayor Strauss presented a check to Joanne DiGiorgio, president of the Mineola Golden Club and Mike Coniglio president of the Mineola Leisure club.
Door prizes were raffled off for the seniors. Over a hundred gifts were given away all donated by Mineola merchants. A big thank you to everyone who helped make a great day for the seniors.
