North Hempstead BeachFeast to return on Aug. 19

The Town of North Hempstead has announced the return of the popular BeachFeast event. 

The food and spirits festival will be held at North Hempstead Beach Park in Port Washington on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 12 to 5 p.m.

BeachFeast will feature craft beer from the Craft Beer Cellar of Port Washington, wine and beer from Murphy’s of Mineola, a variety food trucks, a classic car show and live music along the boardwalk at North Hempstead Beach Park. 

“BeachFeast is a great opportunity to enjoy the beach this summer season with the company of friends and family,” said North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth. “I am looking forward to joining our residents and sampling selections of delicious food from our vendors and enjoying music from this year’s incredible performers.”

This year’s BeachFeast will feature live music by 45 RPM, Kamellot and Tiger Rose.

Residents will be able to purchase an eclectic mix of culinary delights, as well as spirits from vendors.

There will also be a classic car show along the boardwalk and summer activities for all ages.

The event is free of charge, with a parking fee of $10 in cash or $7 paid by debit or credit.
