The North Shore Audubon Society will present a talk, “Fall Warblers on Long Island,” delivered by Joe Giunta on Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 7 p.m.

The event will take place at the Manhasset Public Library at 30 Onderdonk Ave.

Giunta, a native New Yorker, has been an avid birder in the region for nearly 30 years.

He is the birding instructor for the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and has led bird walks for many organizations, including The Nature Conservancy, New York City Audubon, the Brooklyn Bird Club, and several for the North Shore Audubon Society.

Giunta’s program will highlight warblers in their fall plumages so bird watchers can better identify them in the fall foliage.

The talk is free and open to the general public.
