On Friday, May 31 at 7:30 p.m., the Congregational Church and One World Girl will host An Evening of Broadway Song and Story as part of the church’s Concerts for a Cause series. All money raised will support One World Girl and their local programming in Nassau County.

An Evening of Broadway Song and Story will feature top industry talent, including Lauren Gobes (“Elf” and “Oliver!”), Cameron Anika Hill (“Dear Evan Hansen”) and Billy Recce (2018 MAC Award recipient) in a cabaret-style concert. The concert is music directed by Emma Weiss. Also, members of One World Girl’s Youth Advisory Council will be featured as readers and storytellers.

One World Girl is a non-profit organization that unites girls to be changemakers in the world. Through educational programs, community events, service projects, global trips and creative endeavors, they work to bring girls together from diverse backgrounds, to learn from one another, share their stories, build leadership gifts and explore ways to address and heal the divisiveness in their communities and the world.

Tickets for An Evening of Broadway Song and Story are $25 for adults and $15 for youth under 18 and can be purchased online at www.an-evening-of-broadway-song-and-story.eventbrite.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door with a cash or check.
