The Island Now

Ian K is one of those rare modern rock artists that brings something unique to the world of rock music in the current age.

Throughout his career, he has played on some of the biggest stages to be found anywhere, and has had the good fortune to play alongside some of the biggest names in music in Canada, including members of Our Lady Peace, Platinum Blonde, Honeymoon Suite, Von Groove, and even Jake E. Lee’s Red Dragon Cartel. He has even sung on unreleased tracks with Slash and Velvet Revolver.

In February of 2015, Ian‘s music made it’s way onto the new music charts when his first radio release “Linger” broke the National Radio Airplay Top 50 rock chart as measured by Digital Radio Tracker.

In November of 2016, his single, “Your Hero,” broke onto the Euro Indie Music charts at No. 95, moved up to No. 18, and currently resides at No. 19 on the charts.

Ian is now hitting the road on his first U.S. tour, with a concert scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 28 at The Lounge at The Space at Westbury on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m.

Ian and his band prove to be one of the best new rock bands that consistently deliver on putting out quality new music, and a high energy live show.

He has always stayed true to his time proven roots of straight ahead rock and roll music, combining the use of huge guitar sounds, pounding drums, symphonic layers, and memorable melodies, to help create songs that are catchy and feel good, and that stick in people’s heads.

Whether it’s like “new classic rock” or “classic rock with a brand new edge,” either way you’ll be singing his songs for days to come.
