Robert Zimmerman to discuss media, election at Temple Isaiah

Temple Isaiah is pleased to announce that Democratic National Committeeman Robert Zimmerman will be speaking on The Media and the Coming Election on Tuesday evening, September 17th, bringing his extensive background in government and community service to the topic.

Robert was elected in 2000 to serve as a Democratic National Committeeman, and still holds that position. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News Channel, MSNBC and Bloomberg, discussing a wide range of national and international issues. He was appointed to serve on a series of prestigious boards and commissions by Presidents Clinton and Obama, Governor Andrew Cuomo and NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer; those appointments include the National Council on the Humanities, the NYS Sage Commission, the Board of the American Museum of Natural History and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Presidential Commission on the Arts.

Robert also served as Deputy Executive Assistant to Congressman Lester L. Wolff and on the congressional staff of Congressman James Scheuer, specializing in foreign policy and Long Island issues.
