The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley

Portledge Day of Paly

Kids between two years of age and fifth grade will have the opportunity to enjoy several activities with their families. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia and Portledge Lower School Program, some of these activities include sensory and art-related ones for little kids and STEM activities for those of elementary age. The playground will be open if the weather permits it. Among the activities expected to be at the event are light exploration, creating with clay, building, painting and the aforementioned outdoor play.

Escape Room: Voldemort’s Revenge

Participants will have 40 minutes to escape from Prof. Snape’s potions classroom by finding the eight pieces of the Marauder’s Map before Voldemort’s forces show up in this “Harry Potter”-themed escape room. Kids could gain experience in teamwork and logic in this exercise. The escape room is meant for people of all ages. However, kids ten and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Mighty Movers and Tumble Time Drop-In

Kids aged four years or younger will have the chance to work on their developing motor skills as they play in a gym. The “Mighty Movers” class promotes independence and confidence for the toddlers through play. They can enjoy bubbles, music and more as they socialize with each other.
