Brookhaven Town Holiday Spectacular

Brookhaven’s annual holiday spectacular returns to the Holtsville Ecology Site, where there will be an indoor walk-through holiday light show. After walking through the bright winter wonderland, kids will have the opportunity to get their picture taken with Santa Claus. Tickets for the event are $6 per person, but children three years of age or younger get in for free. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at a lower price. There are additional fees for the children getting their picture taken with Santa. All proceeds will go towards benefitting the Holtsville Ecology Site.

Breakfast With Santa

Santa Claus will be on hand at the Glen Cove Mansion every weekend morning until Christmas to have breakfast with any boys or girls who join him. Every child that joins Santa for breakfast will receive a present from him. Admission to the event is $40 for adults and $25 for kids.

American Dance Theatre of Long Island Presents: The Nutcracker

The classic Christmas play will be coming to the Van Nostrand Theater, with the American Dance Theatre of Long Island performing it. Kids may enjoy watching toys come to life, a Christmas tree growing before their eyes, dancing flowers and waltzing snowflakes. Tickets for the event are $30 for adults and $25 for kids under 12 years old and seniors.

Laurie Berkner Live

Referred to by “People Magazine” as the “Queen of kids music,” Berkner has released 12 bestselling award-winning albums. She was the first recording artist to appear in music videos on Nick Jr. Additionally, she helped develop the animated musical series “Sing it , Laurie!” on Sprout TV. Gingerbread Fun

Once Upon a Treetop in Plainview will be hosting a special reading of the classic Christmas-themed story, “The Gingerbread Man.” Following the story, kids will get to craft their own personalized gingerbread man and decorate their own gingerbread cookies. Admission to the event is $25 per child.
