Herman Hermit’s Peter Noone to headline show in Westbury

The sounds of the ’60s and ’70s will fill NYCB Theatre at Westbury on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m. with the Hot Autumn Nights show featuring Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone along with special guests The Grass Roots and The Buckinghams.

Regarded as one of Rock and Roll’s finest and most versatile entertainers, Noone is known for deftly delivering a broad palette of music and through his voice.

Along with the Herman’s Hermits, Peter Noone has sold over 60 million records including the top 40 hits “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “There’s a Kind of Hush,” “I’m Into Something Good,” “A Must To Avoid” and “Listen People.”

 The Grass Roots charted most of their hits between 1966 and 1975. 

The group is celebrated for songs like “Let’s Live For Today,” “Midnight Confessions,” “Temptation Eyes,” “Sooner or Later,” and “Two Divided By Love.” 

In 2015, they were named as inductees into the American Pop Music Hall of Fame.  

The band has had numerous members throughout the years most notably including producer Steve Barri, songwriter P.F. Sloan, Rob Grill, and actor Creed Bratton. 

Currently the band includes Dusty Harvey, Larry Nelson, Joe Dougherty, and Mark Dawson.

 For the past two and a half decades, The Buckinghams have successfully toured the nation with their signature pop music featuring founding members Carl Giammarese (lead vocals) and Nick Fortuna (bass and vocals).

The Buckinghams deliver a show that includes their Billboard Top 40 hits, and a mix of audience’s sizzling favorites from the pop & rock charts of the 1960’s and early 1970’s.
