FriYay Art Days
Fridays, Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Young children will investigate color, shape, form and more with hands-on activities. They will have the opportunity to experiment and become familiar with art materials and processes as they discover new skills while nurturing creative expression.  Free for members, $5 per child for nonmembers. Reservations not needed.

DIY Workshop: Valentine’s Day Bean Bag Toss
Saturday, Feb. 3, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Youngsters can construct a fun, Valentine’s Day bean bag toss game for the whole family to love. Following the game board construction, they can decorate it with paint and stickers. All kids’ workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult. All kids receive a free certificate of achievement, a workshop apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last.

Little Red Riding Hood
Saturday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. (also on Feb. 10 and 11)

Little Red is wondering why life isn’t more exciting, while Granny shows up in search of the Wolf.  The Wolf enjoys being evil, and loves little children (on whole wheat toast).  When Granny has an accident, Little Red sets out to deliver dinner to her.  She goes through the woods, where she encounters a variety of forest creatures including the Wolf, who discovers her destination and arrives at Granny’s house before she does. What will happen to Little Red when the Wolf lays a trap for her?

Harry Potter Book Night
Saturday, Feb. 3 at 6 p.m.

The store will host a special evening event for kids to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter. Children can come dressed as their favorite character, meet fellow fans, and enjoy trivia, games and more.
