“Hair” at Hofstra University

“Hair” celebrates the 1960s counterculture in all its barefoot, long-haired, bell-bottomed, beaded and fringed glory. To an infectiously energetic rock beat, the show wows audiences with songs like “Aquarius,” “Good Morning, Starshine,” “Hair,” “I Got Life,” and “Let The Sun Shine In.”

”A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder”

This 2014 Tony Award for Best Musical tells the uproarious story of Monty Navarro, an heir to a family fortune who sets out to jump the line of succession by eliminating the eight pesky relatives who stand in his way. All the while, Monty has to juggle his mistress who’s after more than just love, his fiancée who also happens to be his cousin, and the constant threat of landing behind bars.

Kupferberg Presents: An Evening with Peter Yarrow
