Not Quite Christmas Cabaret at Hempstead House
Saturday, Dec. 9, 6 to 10 p.m. 

Composer Steven Lutvak returns to Hempstead House for this annual, pre-holiday concert featuring a stellar cast of Broadway performers singing quintessential cabaret in the Winter Living Room. This year’s cast includes two Broadway artists making their Hempstead House debuts, Emily Skinner and Nicholas Ward, and the resplendent Lauren Worsham, who returns with Steve to round out the company of four marvelous voices.

3 Wonderous Stories: John Lennon Tribute
Saturday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. 

Founded as a trio in the early ‘90s, Wonderous Stories has snowballed into one of the highest-drawing bands on Long Island, as well as at large venues in New York City, where they have performed many albums in their entirety, including Abbey Road, Magical Mystery Tour, Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Dark Side of the Moon, Let it Be, Yellow Submarine, Close to the Edge, Who’s Next and The Who’s Tommy.

4 Johnny Mathis Christmas Concert 2017
Saturday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m.

6 Kupferberg Presents: The TEN Tenors — Home for the Holidays
Sunday, Dec. 10 at 3 p.m. 

One of Australia’s most successful touring entertainment groups, The TEN Tenors will bring all the joy and warmth of the season, giving the audience a good spread of traditional Christmas songs such as “Joy to the World” and “O Holy Night,” as well contemporary classics including “Feliz Navidad” and “All I want for Christmas is You.” This will be the feel-good show that will make you want to Falalalalala.

7 Marcie Passley Performs Rodgers and Hammerstein
Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. 

Share an afternoon with Port Washington resident Marcie Passley featuring the classic tunes of Rodgers and Hammerstein. The shows featured in the performance will include “Carousel,” “The King and I,” “South Pacific” and more. Light refreshments and snacks will be served. No tickets required.
