Legendary New York singer-songwriter Suzanne Vega celebrates the 30th and 25th anniversaries respectively of her albums Solitude Standing and 99.9F by performing both in full, including hit tracks throughout her distinguished career such as “Luka,” “Tom’s Diner,” and “Left of Center.”

A Staged Reading of “A Christmas Carol”
Saturday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. 

In 1843, Charles Dickens’ novella, “A Christmas Carol,” was published, and the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge has touched the hearts of readers and audiences ever since. Every holiday season, Adelphi University’s Department of Theatre brings the Victorian classic to the stage as it would have been performed in a radio studio in the 1930s, as a dramatic reading.

3 Blood, Sweat & Tears

The jazz-rock band known for the hits “You Make Me So Very Happy,” “Spinning Wheel,” and “And When I Die” will perform with Bo Bice, the runner-up against Carrie Underwood in the fourth season of “American Idol.”

4 BLI’s Fa La La La La Fest Featuring Fergie with Special Guest Nick Tangora
Sunday, Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m.

6 Planting Fields Holiday Walk
