Johnny Herbert is a singer and songwriter who performs original songs on both piano and ukulele.  His 2010 album, “Destroys the Moon,” combines piano-pop and jazz inspired by artists as diverse as Ray Charles, Ben Folds, Andrew WK and even the Mario Kart soundtrack.

More recently, Herbert has borrowed from traditional Hawaiian music for new songs like “I Knew From The Start” and “Makes Me Want To Sing.”  He has also performed on piano with the Women Of Ireland for their 2016 US tour.

Herbert will perform as part of the May Music at Coe Hall series at Planting Fields Arboretum over the Memorial Day weekend on Sunday, May 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.

No tickets are necessary.  General admission is $5; members and children are free.
