The son of legendary musician Louis Prima, Louis Prima Jr. has made his mark adding new elements to his father’s songs. He attempts to distill elements of his father’s five-decade musical career through a contemporary filter. Tickets for the show are between $49 and $55, with a $10 minimum for food and beverages. Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.

Sports Card and Memorabilia Show

The Westchester County Center will be playing host to a sports card and memorabilia show throughout the weekend. With over 300 tables expected to be set up, this could be the largest sports card show in the tri-state area. Some former sports stars are expected to be on hand for autograph signings. There will also be a free raffle. Kids 12 years or younger get into the event for free and will also receive free packs of cards. Adults can get into the event for $10.

The Simon and Garfunkel Story

This critically-acclaimed concert-style theater show tells the story of the titular musical duo from Queens. The concert will feature state-of-the-art video projection and a live band as songs like “Mrs. Robinson,” “The Sound of Silence,” “Homeward Bound,” “Scarborough Fair,” “The Boxer” and “Bridged Over Troubled Water” are performed. This concert series has already been seen by about 250,000 people worldwide.

New York State Parks Winter Run

Heckscher State Park will play host to the first of the New York State Parks Winter Run series. Medals will be given out to the top three males and females to finish in each age group, divided into 12 and younger, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89 and 90 or older. Registration for the race is $15. However, those interested in registering for the whole series of four races would be charged a total of $40.

Women for Israel Paint Night with Jewish National Fund

Vassar has had two of his songs reach number one on “Billboard’s Hot Country Songs;” “Just Another Day in Paradise” from his 2000 debut album, “Phil Vassar,” and “In a Real Love,” from his 2004 album “American Child, Shaken Not Stirred.” Advanced ticket prices for the show range from $25 to $55, depending on seating.
