Chris and Tony’s Restaurant and Lounge will be hosting a concert, with several talented local musicians scheduled to perform. Kings Drive Underground, composed of Frank Pal, Michael Giordano, Ben Cott, Jon Turk and Caroline Purr, will be playing several popular rock and roll songs. They’ll also be joined by musicians Alex Staring, Todd and Drew Cooper, Alex Tsari and others. Admission is $25 per person.

“Indecent” recounts the conception, censorship and afterlife of the first Broadway play to feature a lesbian kiss, 1907’s “The God of Vengeance.” Created by Paula Vogel and directed by Daniel Higgins, Indecent attempts to give viewers insight into the groundbreaking Yiddish play. Ticket prices range from $15 to $25.

Across the Universe: A Night of the Beatles

Students from the Molloy College CAP21 program will be performing some of the Beatles’ most famous songs throughout the night. With classic songs like “Hey Jude” and “Let it Be,” the Beatles are one of the most famous bands in musical history. Tickets for the event are $25 per person.

MLK Day of Service

The Jewish Community Center will be looking for volunteers to help donate more than 30,000 meals for those in need. This community-building event is meant as a way of celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Those interested in volunteering can register on the JCC’s website.

Songwriters Roundtable and All Original Open Mic

Clark Gillies Foundation: Bowling for Kids

New York Islanders great and NHL Hall of Famer Clark Gillies will be holding a special night of bowling, with the proceeds going to the Clark Gillies Foundation, which helps kids who are physically, developmentally and/or financially challenged. There will be pizza, unlimited soft drinks, raffles and a cash bar. Pricing for the event is $500 per lane with shoe rentals for up to four bowlers. Up to three extra bowlers can be added to a lane for $100 per person.

Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot: Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel

Billy Joel tribute band Mike DelGuidice and Big Shot will be performing their 26th show at the Paramount. Each member of the group is a touring member of Billy Joel’s band. The group has even earned the praise of Billy Joel himself. After seeing them perform Joel said, “They had a hard time convincing me it wasn’t me. It’s uncanny.”
