You’ll also find plenty of inspiration for living a creative life or running a craft business. With new classes added daily and downloadable patterns and supply lists, you’ll be creating before you know it. Video classes are broken into step-by-step parts so that you can master one task at a time, at your own pace.

Pure Joy with Paige Patterson: Music for the Soul
February 2 at 2:00 p.m.
Paige Patterson will perform jazz standards, classic soul, rhythm and blues and contemporary songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, “Fats” Waller, Stevie Wonder, and Diana Ross, among others. She will engage you, renew your memories of a bygone era and restore your faith in the power of music . . . all with pure joy! Ms. Patterson has entertained audiences at The Apollo Theater, The Metropolitan Room and The University Club in New York City and at Oheka Castle, The Carltun at Eisenhower Park, Treme and numerous libraries on Long Island. Greg Schleich will accompany Ms. Patterson on the piano.

Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m.
Join Susan Ackerman for this hands-on fun program. Engage with others while creating personalized candy bars, chocolate, and candy pizza just in time for Valentine’s Day. Online registration began on January 22.

THE LIFE and WORKS of CARAVAGGIO
Friday, Feb. 7 at 11:00 a.m.
Michelangelo Merisi, better known as Caravaggio, created a new path in the history of European painting. His bold, naturalistic style emphasized the common humanity of the protagonists. He was both admired and controversial among his contemporaries. Caravaggio produced small genre pictures and later created a sensation with his dramatic religious works.
MINI SUPER BOWL
Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10:30 a.m.
Bring your children, ages 18 months – 4 years with a caregiver, down to the library for some fun football drills and skills. We will show them how to hike, hold a football, “run” for a touchdown and do a touchdown dance. Registration began on Saturday, January 25.
PLAY BRIDGE or CANASTA
Monday, Feb. 10 & Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 1:00 p.m.
Come and play the brain-stimulating game of Bridge! Or, join in playing the game popular in the fifties that are making a big comeback, Canasta! Bring a team, a friend or come by yourself and enjoy the game. Limited materials will be available. Registration is NOT required.
Tots Night Out
Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 7:00 p.m.
Families with children ages 2 – 5 years are invited to participate in a program of songs, stories, and a craft. Registration begins on Monday, Feb. 3.
TEDDY BEAR VALENTINE’S TEA
Ages 2-5 with a caregiver on Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 11:15 a.m. – noon. 
Grades K-2  on Thursday, Feb. 13 at 4:15 – 5:00 p.m. 
Bring your favorite stuffed animal to a Valentine tea. We will make a “beary” special craft, enjoy tea (Dunkin Doughnuts not too hot chocolate) and munchkins. Registration begins on Monday, Feb. 3.
THE FUNDAMENTALS of MEMOIR WRITING with Robert Waldvogel, Author
Monday, Feb. 24 at 1:30 p.m.
Robert G. Waldvogel, offers a monthly writing lesson, an in-class writing prompt and the opportunity to read and critique it. Those with all levels of experience, including beginners, and interest in all genres, are welcome.
BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING
Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
A nurse from St. Francis Hospital will be conducting free blood pressure screenings on the fourth Tuesday of each month. No registration required. In the Conference Room.
